Our Services

Pars provides a cultural haven for hundreds of refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers every year.

Social Services Department

This department encompasses a broad range of services aimed at addressing the social needs of individuals and families within the community.

Community Economic Development Department

Subdivisions within this department may include:

  • Small Business Development Division: Focused on supporting and nurturing small businesses in the community.
  • VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Division: Providing tax assistance services to low-income individuals.
  • Financial Coaching Division: Offering financial education and coaching services.

Mental Health Services Department

This department remains dedicated to providing mental health support and counseling services.

Workforce Development Department

This department continues to offer programs and services to help individuals develop the skills and resources needed to enter or re-enter the workforce.

Refugee Services Department

    This department can focus on providing specialized services to refugees, including resettlement assistance, language education, and cultural integration programs.

    Community Education Department

    Subdivisions within this department may include:

    • ESL (English as a Second Language) Division: Offering language education classes.
    • Computer Skills Division: Providing classes to enhance computer literacy.
    • Citizenship Classes Division: Assisting individuals in the process of becoming citizens.

      Immigration Services

      Our immigration services include:

      • Citizenship/Naturalization applications;
      • Green Card and Green Card renewals;
      • Domestic Violence based immigration petitions (VAWA, U Visa, I-751 with waiver);
      • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) services;
      • Family Petitions;
      • I-730 Refugee/Asylee Relative Petitions;
      • Travel Documents;
      • NVC Consular Processing;
      • Employment Authorization;
      • Representation at USCIS interviews;
      • Complex immigration relief such as Humanitarian Reinstatements, Waivers of Inadmissibility, Consular Advocacy and more

      Outreach & Education Services

      Our outreach and education services include in-house and mobile workshops, seminars and roundtable discussions on immigrant rights, ICE arrests and detention, police stops, rights at the border, and other Know Your Rights issues concerning immigrant communities.
