Judge blocked the changes to the I-912 fee waiver from going into effect

On December 9, 2019, Judge Maxine Chesney of the Northern District of California blocked the changes to Form I-912, Fee Waiver from going into effect.  Therefore, for the time being, applicants can keep using the former version of Form I-912 and USCIS is required to continue accepting fee waiver applications based on means-tested benefits receipt.
