Dear Community,
Pars Equality Center is committed to supporting the health, stability, and economic well‑being of individuals and families across Los Angeles, San Jose, and Fremont. We offer comprehensive social and human services that are culturally and linguistically responsive—and many of our programs are available free of charge to eligible low-income community members.
Through our Social Services Program, community members can access:
• Enrollment assistance for Medi-Cal and Covered California, including eligibility screening
• Enrollment assistance for CalFresh (Food Stamps), CAPI, and IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services), including application support and eligibility screening
• Enrollment assistance with EDD and unemployment benefits applications
• Free tax preparation services for low-income individuals through our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program
• Housing navigation and referrals
• Assistance with translation of official notices and bills
• Help enrolling in affordable internet programs
• Ongoing case management to ensure continued support beyond initial enrollment
Our team works closely with each individual to assess eligibility, complete applications accurately, provide follow-up guidance, and help ensure successful enrollment in the programs they qualify for.
