Join the Thanksgiving Movement — Provide Food and Gift Cards to Families in Need

At Pars Equality Center, our mission is simple: ensure that no family goes hungry. Every two weeks, our Food Banks in Los Angeles and San Jose provide fresh produce and pantry essentials to refugees, immigrants, and neighbors in need.

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve already served over 1200 families and distributed 147,000 pounds of food this year.

But the need is more urgent than ever. The temporary pause in CalFresh benefits and the federal government shutdown have left many families without food support—some seeking help for the first time.

To respond, Pars has launched an Emergency Food Assistance Initiative to provide grocery gift cards and essential food support to those most affected by the CalFresh pause.
