Goharak joined Pars in 2014 as a Case Manager and Vita Tax Site Coordinator.

After an arduous journey through many countries and trying to become a refugee in the United States, Goharak finally arrived in Los Angeles where she enrolled in Glendale Community College to improve her English skills. Starting in 2007, she volunteered for the Catholic Charities Resettlement Agency to assist refugees like herself and to share her experiences with them.
