Holding a Ph.D. in International Relations and Near Eastern Studies from UCLA, Peyman possesses a profound understanding of global dynamics and regional intricacies. His steadfast commitment to social justice and educational equity is evident throughout his career. In addition to his leadership role at Pars, he enriches the educational landscape as an adjunct faculty member at Occidental College in Glendale. Peyman effectively blends academic insights with practical knowledge, collaborating with local nonprofits, school districts, government agencies, and businesses to address pressing community needs. He is proficient in managing federal, state, and local grants, having developed his expertise through years of hands-on experience in diverse settings.
His commitment to community enhancement is evident through his involvement in various boards and committees, including the Refugee Forum of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Immigrant Task Force, and the LA Language Accessibility Advisory Committee.
