Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 2026

Pars Equality Center is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. The communities we serve should be able to find services, book appointments, read our updates and support our work without barriers.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive and other disabilities.

What We Do

  • Use clear page structure with headings, landmarks and a "skip to main content" link.
  • Support keyboard navigation for menus, forms and dialogs.
  • Check text and interface colors for sufficient contrast.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Offer the website in English and Persian, with right-to-left layout for Persian pages.
  • Test pages with automated tools and manual review before major updates.

Known Limitations

Some features on this website are provided by third parties, including appointment scheduling, the events calendar, donation forms and embedded media. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but some of these tools may not fully meet our standard. If you have trouble with any of them, please contact us and we will help you directly.

Feedback and Assistance

If you run into an accessibility barrier, need information in another format, or need help booking an appointment, please contact us:

Please tell us the page address and describe the problem. We aim to respond within five business days.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review this website regularly and update this statement as we make improvements.
